Default bank problems

Hi,
I dont no if any of u has a bank account with Santander (was Abbey in England) but ive just had a big shock, after not recieving an item paid for online the bank said they'd get my money back good news.
Very bad news = a letter saying no more bank cards being sent abroad cos of postal fraud, so as mine was cancelled due to above, im stuffed, no cards no money, god no's how long it will take to sort out? ive faxed paperwork to uk for transferal of funds to my BG account (almost empty now) but they dont rush even tho ive its urgent, so beware of Santander or if its to late for u start sorting it now before u run out of money, good luck (2 me 2 lol) sandra

Very few, if any, UK banks will send cards to addresses in Eastern Europe. Get them sent to a relative in the UK and then get the relative to forward to your BG address.

I still havent got my money thro yet & its 6 weeks today since ive had access to my money, I'll be nice & thin by summer (good job ive a sense of humour) ive got past being mad its been that long,
Their still messing about saying they cant find the paperwork? ive faxed it 4 times now, it goes in my end & comes out their end how can you lose it? ive been told 3 times their sending the money thro but they havent yet
Its cost me £150 on my mobile, as some numbers cant be rung from public phone in Chirpan dont no why? maybe as some one said their not digital yet you cant do press 1 for this & 2 for that so they may be right?
Ive posted all paperwork now, i hope it gets there ok as all my account numbers are in that letter but theyve been cancelled so it should be ok see if they can lose them, sandra

Don't really know what the answer is but I guess anyone moving to Bulgaria should take note and make sure that any money transfers are in place long before their current card expires.

hi, i finally got money sorted (not) they sent 2 cheques from santander 8 weeks after i asked for a bank to bank transfer as they wont acept cheques the BG bank said, so i sent them to my yorkshire bank in uk (not much in it) then 2 weeks later i had my money, thank god i was getting worried it would never end, someone said get in touch with finacial ombudsman which i did asking for compensation for it being santander's fault it took so long & all the stress it caused, so nothing ventured nothing gained you never know do you i may get some or not we'll see, thanks to anyone who tries to help, sandra
