Flights from the North of England to Bulgaria

Hi,

I have taken the Manchester flight to Sofia with Bulgaria Air quite a few times now and on the whole it has been very good. I fly a fair bit and they do all the standard safety checks as would any other airline. A little bit concerned that they have not been issued with the EU safety certificates. However in terms of cost they usually come out on top

The cost last time out was £150 a ticket from Manchester to Sofia. However, upon planning a recent trip to Bulgaria for a ski trip in Feb, we managed to locate flights with Thomson Fly for £120 which I thought was a bargain. Hope this is useful as the bargain flights are quite hard to come by for us northerners!

just to say you can travel from Gatwick to Sofia with easy jet starting from approx 55e each way including tax etc.
