Hi, I live in Yambol and have been trying to encourage awareness in people to support a local children's home here.
So far there has been lots of support from many people and the easiest way for you to help too is for you to bring items for children in any spare room you have in a suitcase, when you visit Bulgaria.
The children need clothes, shoes, bedding, bottles and baby milk, nappies and cleaning stuff, toys and books, etc
My hubby Darren, with his friend Dencho a Bulgarian from our village has been coaching football to some young lads in the village of Krumovo next to our village.
We have managed to raise awareness for this cause also with donations given of boots and kit.
