Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria starts offering housing loans to citizens of the UK and the republic of Ireland, announced the Austrian bank.
The loans are given in BGN or Euro and they must be paid back in 25 years or less. One "gratis" year is offered, in which the client pays only the interest.
The bank finances 80% of the estimated value of the property if it is already built and 70% if it is in process of building.
The minimal amount of the credit is €5000 and a maximum amount not set.
A month ago Raiffeisenbank offered another housing loan for foreigners with no conditions regarding the nationality, but the terms were less attractive. It had to be paid back in 15 years and covered 10% less of the estimated value of the property.
