The visit of the German president prof. Horst Koehler in Bulgaria continues. Today president Georgi Parvanov will take his guest to the Old Town of Plovdiv.
Meanwhile, Eva Koehler and Zorka Parvanova will open the new office of the Information center for rare diseases and medicines. The office in the University hospital “St. George” at the Medical university in Plovdiv.
This is the first and only information center in Eastern Europe, which deals with the problems of the rare diseases. It gives information to associations, medical specialists and patients about rare diseases and medicines.
The center also provides help in the search for specialized clinics and laboratories, mediates for making contact with the suitable doctors-specialists.
