The British wine-lovers are looking forward to seeing the Bulgarian wines on the British Isles again. This becomes clear from a publication in The Scotsman newspaper.
"Some time ago, Bulgaria and Romania dominated the UK wine market, offering perfectly balanced and mature wines at about 2 GBP per bottle. These wines were made of some wonderful varieties of grapes like Gamza, Mavroud and Melnik," the article also reads. The author expresses his expectations for a boom in the Bulgarian viticulture after the flow of EU funds into Bulgaria's agriculture begins to take effect.
