The Bulgarian resort town of Bankso is in frantic preparation for the opening of the winter ski season on Sunday. The locals hurry to spick and span the small town situated in the Pirin Mountains. As of December 5 all construction works in the resort were suspended.
"Bansko will not be covered in dust and mud as some people would like to. Unfortunately, we are under constant attacks. We were even under pressure to cut the water supply during the student's holiday. However, we overcame all problems. Even if a million tourists visit Bankso during the ski season we will still not allow any problems with the electricity and water supply," Kravarov said further.
