In the coming two weeks Britain would carry out an information campaign on illegal migration and the risks related to it.
The campaign would also focus on illegal work in the country once Bulgaria and Romania joined the EU, UK ambassador to Bulgaria Jeremy Hill said.
Bulgarians lacked sufficient information on working in the UK and needed more details on the common European labour market and the restrictions Bulgaria would be subjected to starting January 1 2007, said Hill.
Employment of qualified Bulgarians was going to depend entirely on the will of UK employers. Unskilled workers would be able to find jobs in the areas of agriculture and food processing, Bulgarian National Radio reported.
Britain ranked as bulgaria's second biggest foreign investor, said Hill. Most investment entered the country through property purchase, as British were attracted to the warm climate, said Hill.
