"In ten years the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Varna will be ranked among the top ten tourist destinations in the world. The city is now in the same category with Turkish, Greek and Croatian resorts," said Prof. Vladi Zlatev from Boston.
Prof. Zlatev has been living in America for 14 years and owns an engineering firm that has branches in Bulgaria. He has shot a documentary about the history of Varna. Prof. Zlatev is the author of a project for the development of tourism in the region. The city of Varna will have its own pavilion at the International Tourism Expo in London next week.
"We will also participate in various promotion shows in Berlin, Moscow, Stuttgart and Bucharest," said Kiril Jordanov, Mayor of Varna.
