Great Britain will shut its doors for Bulgarian and Romanian workers after the two countries join the EU.
"The aim is to limit the influx of immigrants from this two countries that will seek jobs in the service sector," said Alistair Darling Britain's trade and industry secretary as quoted by the BBC.
"The Cabinet will not allow free migration of Bulgarians and Romanians as it did with the ten countries that joined the EU with the previous wave of accession in 2004," Darling said further. "What we need to do is balance the skills that we require."
Britain's main opposition party also called for strict limits on migrants from Bulgaria and Romania when the two countries join the European Union.
Another negative material about Bulgaria was published in Britain yesterday.
"Mobsters in Bulgaria are plotting to flood Britain with heroin, prostitutes and guns when the country joins the EU in January," wrote the tabloid Sunday People.
According to the newspaper, some 45,000 Bulgarian crooks are planning to migrate to Great Britain.
Joining the EU is great, say gangsters. "I will get so rich," boasts an anonymous prostitute.
The ruthless hoods are ready to infiltrate the UK as job-seeking Bulgarians who will flock to these shores legally, writes the tabloid.
