The cheapest British Airways tickets from London to Bulgaria's coastal city of Varna would cost 19 euro, company representatives said.
One-way tickets sell at the moment at 100 euro, Bulgarian news agency BTA reported.

British Airways offers flights to Varna since March 29 2006. The trips occur twice a week, on Wednesday and Saturday.
Since June the company introduced two additional flights to London on Monday and Tuesday.

Winter flights from Varna to London's Gatwick Airport would occur twice each week. The company would offer flights in earlier hours, which would be more convenient for British Airways clients, BTA reported.

CHEAP FLIGHTS FROM LONDON TO BULGARIA’S COAST BECOME YEAR-ROUND

British Airways would offer year-round cheap flights from London to Bulgaria’s coastal city of Varna.

The destination was opened in March 2006, making use of Gatwick Airport in London, mediapool.bg reported.

During the winter the company would offer two flights each week, on Thursdays and Sundays.

Since the autumn a new tariff would be enforced. Starting September 11 the one-way ticket from Varna to London would cost 11 euro, airport tax not included. The roundtrip costs 38 euro.

British Airways representatives said the Varna-London trips turned out to be profitable. Varna already featured on ads in the UK as one of the destinations British Airways offered.

I'm taking this BA flight tomorrow and it's cheaper than I've paid the last few times on the awful Wizz Air (£4 for a soggy unedible sandwich). Have never been to Varna before but am only staying for one night. Does anyone know any nice, reasonably priced hotels in the centre or have any tips for what to do in Varna for a night?
thanks, Niall

Not sure if this is too late or not Niall but you could take a look on a comparison site such as this one to find a hotel: http://http://www.travelsupermarket.com/travelmerge/travelsearch.aspx?package=5
Also, for one night in Varna I recommend a trip to Club Exit. I went there a lot when I was staying in Varna. :)
