Some 45,000 Bulgarians and Romanians put on a black list
London prepares to put up a new Schengen barrier for Bulgarians and Romanians. British special services have complied a list with the names of 45,000 people, citizens of both countries, reported Sunday Times. The people on the list are suspected of being members of crime rings or posing some other threat to the national security of Great Britain. The report was based on personal files of Bulgarians and Romanians who crossed the British border or attempted to enter the country. However, it quotes the names of people who have nothing to do with bandits but have violated the immigration law.
However, the newspaper warns that the government would make a grave mistake if it treats Bulgarians and Romanians differently from Poles, for example.
Meanwhile it turned out that people from Eastern European countries assimilated remarkably well compared to older immigrant communities, claims the newspaper.
