Dob-REH dosh-LEE. = Welcome.

Blago-dah-RYAH. = Thanks.

Nyamah zash-TOH. = You're welcome. (In reply to 'thank you'.).

Suzhe-LYAH-vam. = I'm sorry.

Pomosht! = Help!

Ku-DEH eh toah-LET-nata? = Where's the restroom?

Za-EHTO! = Taken!

Hi Suzanne, like the way you put the basic yes/no etc after the 'love you like crazy' etc post!! Good info though many of us need some basics...me for one.

Thanks Suzanne -- I just married a Bulgarski momchie -- I cannot wait to get mi krasiva saprooga on MSN messenger to try out the romantic ones im learning the language slow --im older and its not so easy -- lucky for me her english is perfect . Thanks again Alsie

Have just viewed your web site Alsie989, and love all the pictures. Kardjali appears to be a very clean town.

Suzanne, how about doing a short simple dialogue between 2 people. e.g. hailing a taxi and asking the driver to take you to the musium, or train station, or bus station.

Just an idea:)
