British hunters are attracted to the game fields of Dobrudzha, in Northeastern Bulgaria and the stud farm in Strazhitsa village
Representatives of the Royal Hunting Club in England, which is presided by Charles, the Prince of Wales, is looking for new fox hunt fields in Bulgaria.
Not long ago, the traditional for the UK fox hunting was banned and the British people keen on this kind of entertainment are now looking for new suitable game fields in France, the Netherlands and in Bulgaria. In the UK, there are about 15,000 horses, specially trained for fox hunting, and 35,000 hunting dogs. No gunshots are heard in fox hunting. The foxes are chased by the horses and the dogs and the rider just plunges forward, grabs the fox by the neck and strangles it to death. This has been the fourth trip of the British hunters to Bulgaria. They especially like the fields near Tsarkva village, in Northeastern Bulgaria.
A cross-country terrain without too much wood is ideal for fox hunting. The British hunters have already shown interest in the stud-farm in Strazhitsa village, and they intend to hire some of the facilities.
Now, there will be some important talks between representatives of the Hunting Club and experts of the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Ministry of Environment and Waters.
