Bulgarian and Balkan Studies Center opened in Ukraine

A Center for Bulgarian and Balkan Studies was opened in the Ukrainian city of Harkov. It is with the local national university, where a two-day forum, dedicated to the history of the Harkov scientific school in Bulgarian and Byzantine Studies and its future is being held. The forum also marks the 100th death anniversary of prominent Bulgarian scientist and public figure Marin Drinov, who was Professor in the Harkov University before he founded the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences back to Sofia.
