Jean-Claude Trichet, President of the European Central Bank, will pay a two-day official visit to Bulgaria on Sunday, at the invitation of Ivan Iskrov, Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank, and Deputy PM Ivaylo Kalfin.
On Monday, Mr. Trichet is scheduled to have talks with Bulgaria's President Georgi Parvanov, Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev, Deputy PM Ivaylo Kalfin, Finance Minister Plamen Oresharski and with the Governing Council of the Bulgarian National Bank.
In the afternoon, Jean-Claude Trichet is going to read a lecture about the enlargement of the Eurozone before diplomats, MPs, Ministers and representatives of the private sector.
