Fifty wineries are preparing to compete for medals and Golden Rhyton awards
The wines, which win a Gold Rhyton Award, or a medal at the National Wine Tasting Sessions, will be marked with a special sticker, certifying their high quality.
Fifty wine-producers will take part in the National Tasting Sessions of Bulgarian wines, brandy and wine brandy, which are part of the International Exhibition on Vine-Growing and Wine-Producing Vinaria'2006, organized in Bulgaria's second largest city of Plovdiv.
About twenty percent of the presented liquors and wines are expected to win a medal at this year's session.
"Because of the change in the sessions' rules we ordered 150 medals," said Yordan Radev, CEO of the International Plovdiv Fair.
