Europe Will Only Benefit from Bulgaria's Accession in 2007

European Union's benefit from Bulgaria and Romania's accession to the union in 2007 as scheduled will highly exceed the problems the two countries' economies might create," said Dora Bakoyianni, Greece's new Foreign Minster, to the Deutsche Welle. "We believe that the whole of the Southeastern Europe should aspire towards EU accession. These are countries, which are too small to cause economic problems; but the stability we are trying to achieve, in mind, this prospect is essential. We hope that other concerns and interests would not lead to enlargement rejection", she said.
