500 000 Euro raised for helping Libyan children

The Bulgarian nongovernmental Association for the Promotion of Bilateral Relations with Libya has so far raised half a million Euro from private donors to help the families of HIV-positive children in Libya, Bulgarian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Dimiter Tsanchev announced. Tsanchev also said that there is no change in Bulgaria’s stand not to engage with the payment of financial compensations to the families of AIDS- infected children in Libya. Bulgaria’s participation in the International Fund would be only in terms of humanitarian aid.
