Bulgaria’s capital, Sofia, is one of the most ancient cities in the old continent. Interestingly, its centre has practically not moved changed its location for over 2 000 years. The territory of today’s Sofia was populated way back in the Neolithic age – 6th millennium B.C. There are over 120 000 exhibits in the collection of the Museum of Sofia. Some of them will be on display in its permanent exposition to be opened in a new place – in part of the renovated Central Public Baths, downtown.
