hello, I don't know if this is the proper place to be asking this question but hoping for some help.
this is for a friend of mine. she is bulgarian, she is already already in the U.K. and is going to be working as a housekeeper in a private residence in the U.K.
our question is, in section 6 of the BR3 form for the Accesion Worker Card it says-
'You must enclose with this application a letter from your employer setting out the details of your employment and confirming that you have been employed by your employer overseas (unless you are being employed in a diplomatic household) for at least one year as a domestic worker under the same roof as your employer, or in a household that your employer uses on a regular basis.'
we are trying to understand this part-
confirming that you have been employed by your employer overseas (unless you are being employed in a diplomatic household) for at least one year as a domestic worker under the same roof as your employer, or in a household that your employer uses on a regular basis.'
is this saying that the person who is applying for the A.W.C. to work for this employer in the U.K. needs to have ALREADY BEEN WORKING OVERSEAS for the person who is going to be employing them in the U.K. for at least a year? she has found someone here who will give her a job and the letter but she has only just met them and has not been working for them for a year, does this mean she cannot get an A.W.C.?
i am confused about that wording and would appreciate some help.
thank you.
